The Bear and the Bird-House

In a land to the East lived a Bear, big and round,
Who liked to keep quiet and stay on his ground.
He looked at his neighbor, a small little bird,
And whispered a warning that shouldn't be heard.
PAGE 1
But the birds in the West, with their blue and gold hats,
Were building a fence and some big concrete flats!
They put up a sign that said "NATO IS HERE!",
And filled up the Bear with a terrible fear.
PAGE 2
"You're crowding my garden!" the Bear gave a roar,
"I can't let you build by my window no more!"
He picked up his hammer and knocked down the gate,
To stop all the blue-hats before it's too late!

"We'll settle this scrap and we'll share some hot tea,
And keep all the blue-hats away from the sea!
The garden is mine and the bird-house is near,
We’ll live with no fences and nothing to fear!"
